U.S. Department of Education Training Officer
Trevor Summers is a Training Officer with Federal Student Aid. He conducts Departmental Training Workshops on Title IV Administration and regularly assists schools in any way necessary.
Trevor has been working in Title IV since 1990. Prior to becoming a Training Officer, he worked with the Department’s Dallas School Participation Team as an Institutional Eligibility Analyst and a Program Reviewer. He previously worked on the campus level in all positions of the Financial Aid Office.
Trevor lives in Waxahachie, Texas with his family. He and his wife are almost empty nesters!

Becca Dobry is currently the Assistant Director for the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She has been working in financial aid since 2007. Before going to the University of Nebraska at Kearney she worked at National American University as a Financial Aid Advisor.
Becca received her Bachelor’s degree from Chadron State College in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics, and her Master’s degree in Student Affairs through UNK.
She has been active in her state association, NeASFAA, having served
as the Awards Committee Chair, Four Year Public Sector Representative
and Professional Development and Recognitions Committee Chair. In RMASFAA Becca is the current President-Elect and has participated
as a mentee in the Leadership Pipeline, chaired the Association News Committee and served as RMASFAA’s treasurer.
Special Agent - U.S. Department of Education’s
Office of Inspector General (ED-OIG), Denver, CO
Tim joined ED OIG in June 2021. Prior to ED OIG, Tim was a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigation, Nuclear
Regulatory Commission OIG, Department of Defense OIG, and Department of Interior OIG.
Tim’s training has included the Criminal Investigator Training Program, advanced interviewing and interrogation, public corruption, financial investigative techniques, grant fraud, leadership, protective service operation, counterintelligence, surveillance techniques, and counterespionage.
Tim is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Spring, CO, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Tim also earned his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from American Military University.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Kevin Howe has worked in higher education since 2009. Kevin started working part‐time at the University of Louisville’s financial aid office as a graduate
After graduation, Kevin moved to Seattle, WA, where he worked with the University of Washington and several community colleges. There he led a team of innovators who assisted underrepresented populations to not only obtain financial aid for college, but also supported adult learners obtain their high school equivalency.
For the last two years, Kevin has worked in the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid at the University of Utah and is currently the Operations, Program & Budget Information Coordinator. He serves on RMASFAA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
